A parallel algorithm for unilateral contact problems

In this paper, we introduce a novel parallel contact algorithm designed to run efficiently in High Performance Computing based supercomputers. Particular emphasis is put on its computational implementation multiphysics finite element code. The the method of partial Dirichlet–Neumann boundary conditions and capable solve numerically nonlinear problem between rigid deformable bodies whole framework. Its distinctive characteristic that tackled as coupled problem, which contacting are treated separately, staggered way. Then, coupling performed through exchange at interface following Gauss–Seidel strategy. To validate conducted several benchmark tests by comparing proposed solution against theoretical other numerical solutions. Finally, evaluated performance real impact test show capabilities for large-scale applications.
